Chez-Delaney Plates Have Arrived!

My Chez-Delaney plates have arrived and I'm too excited! I only ordered them on Jan. 14th and assumed because they were coming from France it'd be a month before they arrived but they just came in this past Monday. I've been deathly ill for the past few days and just couldn't post anything and even though I'm still not all the way better I just had to get some photos of the plates up. So without further adieu....

First I have the "Complete Serie D"

Marilyn Monroe! Can't wait to try that one :D

I received 2 of plate D17 but not D16 so unfortunately I don't have that to show you yet. Although I emailed Veronique from Chez-Delaney and she very promptly replied that she would send out the missing plate. I'll update this post once the plate has arrived.

I was very excited about the D25 plate. I'm a wee bit of a nerd and couldn't wait to try out the Ghostbuster, Thundercat and Batman images. As you can see the Ghostbuster image didn't fully transfer, I guess I would say. But I'll still try it out and see how it looks once it's on the nail.

And that's the last of the D Series. As you can see not all of the images are totally centered on the plates but I don't think that should compromise the images they produce. Also some of the designs seem to have so fine of lines it may be difficult to get the images to transfer. Over the next few days I'll be trying out each of the images and post how they turn out.

The below plates are a few others I was interested in. I love the squiggly designs in the next two. They'll be good for background designs I think.

How cute is the little bikini in T27? Perfect for a summer themed mani. And the stylized leaves, acorn and pumpkin in T41 great for a fall mani.  All of the above 4 are from the T Series.

These last two plates I choose because of a single design in each. The peacock feather in H6 and the humming birds in H26. Both are from the H Series.

Now just to round out this barrage of photos I thought I'd show a comparison of a Konad, Bundle Monster and a Chez-Delaney plate.
First is the Konad then the Bundle Monster and lastly the Chez-Delaney. As you can see the first two are slightly smaller  at about 2 1/4" than the C-D which is 2 3/4". The  Konad is a bit thicker than the other two and has a nice beveled edge. While the BM plate is much less expensive (I purchased mine on Amazon for $17 for a set of 20) it doesn't have a hefty feel and the edges are sharp. I filed mine with an old metal nail file and that seemed to fix them up. But if you do the same I would recommend doing it outside, it's not too fun to breathe in metal shavings. Since I've yet to try out the C-D plates I can't give them an accurate review, but I do like the diversity of images and the price was pretty reasonable.

That's it for this post. Thanks to anyone who may actually read this ;)
